Speederview is designed to keep the app experience straightforward. This page explains what information the app uses, what stays on your device, what may be shared with optional third-party services, and how to contact us about privacy questions.
Speederview stores practice-related preferences and progress to support the app experience. Optional AI help opens a third-party service only after the user chooses to continue, and only the challenge context and prompt needed for that request are shared.
Effective date: April 18, 2026
Speederview may collect or store information needed to operate the app and support your practice experience, including challenge progress, solved state, favorites, streak data, and app preferences such as selected language or selected AI provider. If you contact support, we also receive the information you include in your email. If analytics are enabled in the app, usage events such as app launches, challenge opens, challenge starts, challenge solves, example opens, and favorite toggles may be sent to our analytics provider.
Information is used to provide core app functionality, such as showing solved challenges, restoring preferences, tracking progress, supporting optional AI help, responding to support requests, and understanding app reliability and feature usage.
Speederview offers optional AI help features that can open third-party AI services, including OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude). If you choose to use one of these features, the app may send the current challenge title, problem statement, selected language, and the prepared prompt for the requested help action, such as explanation, debugging help, complexity analysis, or worked examples. If you continue the conversation after the third-party AI page opens, any text you enter there may also be sent to that provider. AI help is optional and is not required to use Speederview.
Speederview is designed to work with local app data for core practice functionality. Some information such as progress, attempt history, favorites, and settings may be stored on your device so the app can restore your experience between sessions. Core challenge practice does not require you to create an account with Speederview.
The app may rely on Apple platform services, TelemetryDeck for analytics, and optional third-party AI providers including OpenAI and Anthropic. If you choose to use those features, relevant information may be shared with those providers for the purpose of analytics or generating AI assistance. We expect third parties that receive data from Speederview to provide the same or equal protection of user data as described in this policy and required by Apple’s App Review Guidelines.
Speederview asks for your permission before opening a third-party AI service from within the app. You can choose not to use AI help and still use the core app. You can also change your preferred AI provider in Settings and contact us if you have privacy-related questions or requests.
Speederview is a coding interview preparation and learning app and is not specifically directed to children. If you believe personal information has been provided inappropriately, contact us and we will review the request.
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
